In January 1898, William and Moses Griffin founded Griffin Brothers in their home town of Dudley (UK). Initially the brothers began manufacturing steel chimney liners and steel storage pans for the nut and bolt industry.

Griffin Brothers began production from the backyard of their home which once stood on the current manufacturing base. From these modest beginnings the company grew over the years and adapted the product range to suit changing industrial demands.

Today Griffin Brothers (Dudley) Ltd manufacture high quality kegs and drums for a variety of industrial uses from chemical storage, the wine trade and a host of other industries mainly for a wide base of customers in the UK. There is, however, a growing export market for many of their products which is successfully serviced by their customer base.

This success, attention to detail and desire to supply customers’ needs with quality workmanship has led to expansion over the years. The current manufacturing site has swallowed up most of the homes and shops on the old site and now measures approximately 18,000 sq metres.

Griffin Brothers are proud to remain a private family business led today by the fifth generation of the Griffin family in the form of current directors - Mark Griffin, Craig Copson and John Saunders. The generations have changed but the company remains totally customer focused with a sound and relevant product range.
